WC Handy House, 352 Beale Street, Memphis
While you can find plenty of entertainment on your own, Beale Street is fortunate to have two excellent tour companies with operations right on the street: Heritage Tours and Backbeat Tours.
Heritage Tours operates the historic W. C. Handy home at 352 Beale and also offers a Beale Street walking tour which includes the home, Church Park, Handy Park, the Brass Note Walk of Fame and more. Heritage Tours also offers several other tours throughout the city including a Civil Rights Tour and Black Heritage Tour.
